About Me

Wilmot isn't just where I serve. It's home.

I've called Baden home for the past 20 years. Before that, I spent 17 years just down the road in Tavistock. For nearly four decades, Wilmot and area has been home.

This is where I live, work, and raise my family.

I'm a husband and father of three boys, a local business professional, and your Ward 3 Councillor. I've had the opportunity to own and operate two businesses in Wilmot, and I continue to work right here in our community today.

Raising a family in a rural community like Wilmot has given me an even greater appreciation for what makes this place special. It's the sense of community, the open spaces, our agricultural roots, and the connection people have to their neighbours.

I've watched Wilmot grow and change, and I've had the privilege of getting to know so many of the people who make this community such a great place to live.

In 2022, I was elected to represent Ward 3 on Wilmot Township Council. Since then, I've worked hard to be an independent voice for residents. I'm not afraid to ask tough questions, challenge the status quo, or stand alone when I believe it's the right thing to do.

Over the past four years, I've pushed for greater transparency and accountability, including line-by-line municipal budgets and more opportunities for residents to have their voices heard at Council. I've held town halls, listened to residents, and challenged decisions when I believed our community deserved better.

I've also stood up for our rural community and local farmers when I felt their voices weren't being heard, including speaking out publicly during the land assembly process.

When it comes to our finances, my position has remained consistent: before asking residents to pay more, we need to make sure we're spending what we already collect wisely.

As we look toward the next four years, my priorities remain straightforward:

Responsible spending, greater transparency, and a strong, independent voice for Ward 3.

I'm proud to call Wilmot home. I'm proud to work here, raise my family here, and serve this community.

And I'm asking for your support to continue doing just that.
